What is my ranking ?

  • 1.0 – 2.0 A player who is just starting to play.
  • 2.5 A player who has played some type of sport and can sustain a short rally.
  • 3.0A player who understands fundamentals and court positioning.
  • 3.5 A player who can acknowledge the difference between a hard game and a soft game. They move quickly to the none volley zone.
  • 4.0 A player who is able to identify and attack the opponents weakness. They know where their partner is positioned and move as a team.
  • 4.5 A player who understands strategy and has good footwork. They are able to communicate and move well with their partner.
  • 5.0 A player who has mastered Pickleball strategies. They have efficient footwork and can easily adjust their game to their opponent’s strengths and weaknesses. They rarely make unforced errors.
  • 5.5 A player who has mastered Pickleball. They are a top caliber player.

Novice/Beginner

New to Pickleball and only have played a few times a year. They don’t know how to keep score, where to stand on the court. They just need help.

Intermediate

They are not intimidated to get on the court and start playing. They know the rules and can serve well.

Advanced

A player who hits the ball hard, have better mobility and are able to place the ball. Very few errors occur.
